Welcome message from our Headteacher
Since 1997, The English School of Asturias has proudly offered a dynamic, forward-thinking education, nurturing the potential, passions and aspirations of every pupil who walks through our doors.
At the heart of our school is a passionate and caring community. We believe deeply in the transformative power of education – not only as a foundation for academic success, but as a tool for shaping confident, compassionate and purposeful young people who are ready to make a difference in the world.
We value each student’s individual journey, and we are committed to helping them grow – academically, socially and emotionally – within a diverse and supportive environment. Our curriculum is enriched with a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, and our emphasis on a growth mindset encourages all learners to embrace challenges, develop resilience, and strive for excellence.
As part of the Dukes Education family, we benefit from the shared knowledge, resources and international collaboration of a wider educational community. This ensures that our students not only thrive locally but are also inspired by global perspectives.
Our pupils graduate with both national and international qualifications, opening doors to higher education and future careers across the world. But beyond that, they leave as well-rounded individuals, equipped with the curiosity, kindness and confidence to contribute meaningfully to society.
We understand that choosing the right school is a major decision for any family. We hope this website gives you a useful glimpse into life at our school—but we warmly invite you to visit in person and discover all that The English School of Asturias has to offer.
We look forward to welcoming you into our community.
