School trips and excursions
Providing enriching experiences for all pupils
Our school offers a wide-ranging programme of educational excursions and travel experiences designed to enrich learning beyond the classroom. Through shared challenges and achievements, students and staff develop strong connections while creating lasting memories.
Every school trip is thoughtfully organised to provide a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding experience for all participants, with safeguarding as a top priority throughout the planning and delivery process.
Trip are varied along with the subjects studied, but include:
- At the start of Year 7, pupils moving into secondary school go on a team-building trip together in Leon, which enables staff and pupils to get to know each other at the start of this new educational stage.
- In recent school years, Years 9,10 and 11 pupils have been to Amsterdam, London, Granada and Seville in, and there are plans for Year 13 to visit Bologna next year.
Please note that trips are subject to minimum student participation numbers being met. Trips longer than a single day are not included within standard tuition fees.
Dukes Plus summer schools in the UK
Since 2008, Dukes Education has delivered award-winning summer school programmes designed to help students realise their potential and build a strong foundation for future academic and personal success.

Duke of Edinburgh Award
We are launching the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme in September 2026, further expanding opportunities for personal development, teamwork, leadership, and outdoor education.
Offered at Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels, the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award provides a structured framework for personal growth. Participants complete activities in volunteering, skills development and physical fitness, and take part in a weekend long hiking and camping expedition as part of each award.
